Balatbat Expands Holographic Film Supply for Employee ID Cards and Membership Cards

We have secured additional production capacity to support lawful employee ID card, visitor ID card, and membership card issuance programs.

Balatbat Security Cards Co. has expanded holographic overlaminate output to support the next phase of lawful employee ID card, visitor ID card, and membership card issuance projects in the Philippines. The investment was driven by stronger demand from enterprise access card programs, hospitality visitor ID card programs, and retail membership card projects that require shorter replenishment cycles for overt card security features.

The expansion adds a dedicated coating and inspection line for diffractive laminate rolls, allowing tighter registration control and improved inline defect screening for every card layer. With the additional line, the company expects to increase monthly card overlaminate capacity by more than 35 percent while maintaining the optical consistency needed for secure access card, employee ID card, and premium membership card authentication.

The new capacity is expected to support multi-million access card, employee ID card, and membership card supply schedules through 2025, with staged delivery planning for central issuance and distributed card personalization centers. Balatbat will continue to offer custom master origination, card pattern validation, and lot traceability for authorized programs only.
